My heart’s cry Israel. A new generation is coming forward and dietary change is key and cannot be overlooked. Please be encouraged. We can change, we have to change…we will change. The variety of natural foods used were: kale and apple celery and cucumbers mango beet and apple almonds to make almond milk cooked quinoa (whole grain) The varieties and combinations are endless and provides and wonderful foundation for natural taste on our babies taste buds as opposed to those foods that have been handled and processed down on machinery and depleted of much of whatever nutrition may have been in the food. Commercial baby food is toxic. Organic baby food is much better but still processed down and not fresh. Fresh produce, handled and prepared in love by us mothers is the best we can give to our little ones. They’ve suffered enough and we have as well. Let’s pick up and begin to do better.

Food costs take a big bite out of everyones budget. In Portland, Maine people are getting together to fight the problem. The Portland Food Buying club, which is part of the Portland Food Coop formed a year and a half ago. The Food Buying Club buy local and natural foods, and offers a better deal on many products than the big natural foods stores. They have no overhead and mark up the food by 10 percent so they can keep prices relatively low.
Tigertail Foods’ treats (the Peanut Butter Banana, along with a couple of others mentioned!) were featured in a San Diego local PBS special that spotlighted the enclave of Kensington and its businesses. Kensington Pet Supply, one of our retail locations, is a great resource for the San Diego pet lovers. The owners are super friendly and super knowledgeable.
