Leaf

Leaf introduces Dr. William Courtney and Kristen Peskuski of Cannabis International; along with the people involved in researching, promoting, regulating and benefiting from raw cannabis. Dr. Courtney is a physician and researcher from Mendocino, California, who gives medical marijuana approvals to qualified patients in Mendocino and Humboldt Counties. Kristen Peskuski is a researcher and patient who put her systemic lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, interstitial cystitis, and numerous other conditions into remission juicing fresh cannabis. They help make sense of the science behind patient’s recoveries from a diverse range of medical conditions. Attorneys, physicians, law enforcement, medical care providers, patients and their families discuss their experiences with medical cannabis. They specifically focus on juicing fresh cannabis, which is non-psychoactive and contains medical properties 200-400 times stronger than traditional, heated cannabis. Patients have reported success with osteo and rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune disorders, cancer and many other conditions using this unique therapy.

Fantastic information,…My 29 year old brother has in the last 2 months been diagnosed with a category 4 Glioblastoma brain tumor. He has been on “Rick Simpsons oil” for 7 weeks. Is it possible to freeze the raw leaf or juice? Will this effect the healing properties from this plant?

@greenrok44 I am very interested in this subject.. what on behalve of your experience is best to use, indica, sativa or mixed variety..? I like to start using it as a raw supplement, I am already juicing quite some and like to extend it to using cannabis(leaves) also.. Do you have links to sources which are easy to read through..?

This is one of the best videos I have seen on the subject of cannabis.
When I saw you cutting off those top colas and throwing them in a juicer I was like ‘what the heck?!”… I had no idea of the difference between smoking it and consuming it raw… thank you.
I use cannabis for depression… I find cannabis most inspiring where antidepressants just make you numb.
The miracle plant needs to be recognized.

If I could grow it and juice it with no worry of jail, I would drink it every day. I have no doubt it would heal so many problems. Everyone should be allowed to use it the way they want.

Nicely presented informative video. The drug companies can’t profit from something that grows as easily as “A Weed” because they can not patent it. Many uses for “Industrial Hemp” saving tons of trees – hemp paper, car auto bodies 10X stronger and 10X lighter then steel as Henry Fords “Hemp Car” demonstrated. One would have to smoke a joint the size of a telephone pole to get high from Industrial hemp. But hemp remains illegal for 1 reason = so Billionaires can remain Billionaires!

GREAT information! Hempseed and it’s oil are known Superfoods, and many people favor the lack of THC, either ’cause they don’t like the high, or for drug testing reasons. The psychoactive properties are beneficial for pain, PTSD, and other mental ailments, but then you get the high and drug test woes. My question is, would THCa show up on a standard drug test for THC? and/or does it metabolize differently? My guess is THC would still show up, but I and certainly others aren’t sure. Thanx!

“We combined CBD with THC in culture dishes of aggressive Brain Cancer cells. We found a Synergistic improvement in the ability to THC not only to inhibit the growth but cause programmed cell death. We found specific Molecular Mechanisms that might explain why combining the two compounds makes a more efficient treatment. The data suggests the compounds to be active you must use a high concentration (Rick Simpson’s Cancer Cure Hemp Oil) you WON’T be able to do that by smoking it.”

Also, you might care to consider using the whole Cannabis plant: i.e. seeds, leaves, roots blended and strained in spring water

    I call it “Leche Verde”

The first time I made it was in1997, in Holland.

    Hi.
*interesting* vid. Unfortunately (at least for my -admittedly somewhat sub-optimal- ears) the music makes the text hard &impossible-in-some-spots to understand. Could you maybe please provide a transcript ?!

And, most unfortunately, utube-vids lately don’t play well (on my systems) AND are downloadable only in this (shitty) “wbem” format — can I maybe download this vid from someWHERE? (else) in a reasonable format (e.g. mpg, mp4) ?
