The conception that a mixture of plants is just a “drug” (and the taken for granted view that anything that comes from “nature” must be good for you) are culturally based. Check out The Cosmic Serpent by Jeremy Narby.

Ayahuasca is a mix of drugs is it not? Its made of plants so its not bad for you but its still a drug because it changes your state of mind.
