Introduction To: “whooo Cooks for You?”
In this fast paced world, wouldn’t it be a pleasure to take the time to listen to a wise old owl ask “Whooo Cooks For You?” and consider what this really means!?Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, did. As one of his central questions, he would ask not only what food were you eating , he would also ask: Who cooks for you?
The seemingly simple question “who cooks for you?’ actually has serious implications as a deep philosophical, psychological and spiritual question concerning how to create optimal health for every individual in the family as well as greater community!
Many of us have heard the old adage, “you are what you eat”. Who cooks for us affects what we eat and therefore who we are. In answering the question “who cooks for you?”, we gain an understanding of the value the cook brings to an individual, a relationship, a family, a community, and to the world. Ultimately, what better way to say “I Love You” than to say “I’ll Cook For You!”? And what better way to say “I Value You” than to cook a wholesome, healthy, sustainable meal with love and kindness.
